The Four Rivers Vector Control District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. Each member is a resident or property owner within the district boundaries and is appointed by the Deschutes County Commissioners to serve a four-year term.These individuals volunteer their time to support the district’s mission of protecting public health through effective mosquito and vector control. A strong, engaged, and well-informed board is essential to ensuring the district remains transparent, fiscally responsible, and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.When a seat becomes vacant, it creates a valuable opportunity to welcome new perspectives and expertise that strengthen the board’s ability to guide the district forward.
