🦟 Now Recruiting: Mosquito Control Technicians
Four Rivers Vector Control District (FRVCD) is recruiting seasonal team members for the 2026 mosquito season! We’re looking for motivated, independent individuals who enjoy working outdoors and want to help protect the community from mosquitoes and the diseases they carry. Positions include:

Mosquito Fog Truck Driver (Evenings/Nights, April–September)

Mosquito Control Field Technician (Daytime hours, April–September)
Duties include operating district vehicles and equipment to control mosquito populations, monitoring and treating mosquito habitats, and maintaining accurate records. Work is conducted in rugged terrain and all weather conditions. Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass the ODA Public Pesticide Applicator exam (training and exam provided). No prior experience required—just a willingness to learn and work hard!
Wage: DOE
Schedule: Variable (includes evenings and weekends, depending on district needs)
Location: Deschutes River Region — Based out of Solar Drive, Bend, OR
