Larvacides
These products target mosquitoes in the water before the becoming biting adults.​
Vectobac 12AS (Liquid Bti)

Active Ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) - a naturally occurring soil bacterium.

Use: Applied to standing water sources using manual backpack sprayers to control mosquito larvae.

Safety: Bti specifically targets mosquito larvae and does not harm people, pets, fish, or beneficial insects such as bees or dragonflies.

Vectobac G (Granular Bti)

Active Ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) - a naturally occurring soil bacterium.

Use: Applied to standing water sources. This product is ideal for hard to reach marshy areas, often applied using gas-powered backpack sprayers or helicopter.

Adulticides (Fogging Treatments)
This products targets adult mosquitoes in the evening hours when they are most active and pose the highest risk of biting and disease transmission.
Permasease 4-4

Active Ingredient: 4% Permethrin, 4% Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO)

Use: Applied using truck-mounted ULV (ultra-low volume) foggers to disperse a fine mist that controls flying adult mosquitoes over a wide area.

Effectiveness: Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that quickly knocks down mosquitoes on contact, while PBO enhances its effectiveness by inhibiting the mosquito's ability to break down the insecticide.

Safety: Used at extremely low volumes that minimize exposure to people, pets, and wildlife. Permethrin breaks down quickly in sunlight and is approved for use in residential areas.

Equipment Used
We apply these products using calibrated equipment including:

Handheld and backpack sprayers for larviciding in smaller areas.

Maruyama gas-powered sprayers for marshes and dense brush/grass.

ULV foggers mounted on trucks for community-wide adulticiding.

Helicopter application for large or inaccessible marsh areas (spring and early summer only).
