Join the Four Rivers Vector Control Budget Committee
The Budget Committee is a local citizen body that works with the District Board to review the proposed annual budget. Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and discussing the proposed budget presented by staff.

Providing input on community priorities for revenues and expenditures.

Ensuring the budget aligns with district goals and legal requirements.

Approving the budget before it goes to the Board for final adoption.
Budget committee members do not manage day-to-day operations but play a critical role in financial oversight and transparency.
To serve on the Budget Committee, applicants must:

Be a registered voter in Oregon.

Reside within the Four Rivers Vector Control District boundaries.

Not be an employee or officer of the District.

Be willing to serve a 3-year term (per ORS 294.414) and attend annual budget meetings (typically in the spring).
